This comprehensive document serves many purposes.
In addition to providing strategic guidance to the Trustees of the
Village of Pittsford for the years to come, it also fulfills the
requirements of the State of New York with mandated data. The following
provides the reader with a summarized overview on the components
of the Plan and where specific information may be found.
The "Principles for the Future" are
the foundation upon which all elements of the Plan are predicated.
Following the Principles are one or more of the applicable "Goals"
that support each of them. Finally, the "Document Reference"
indicates which section the detailed background information is found
for the specific subject.

The "Village Schematic"
The "Village Schematic" (section
3.8) presents a series of conceptual drawings to visually illustrate
important concepts for future development plans that enable many
of the recommended "Goals, Policies, and Actions" to be
implemented. They are presented after the "Goal" and "Implementation
Matrix" sections in the document.
