Monroe County has opened Ecopark which provides residents with a facility to bring and dispose of household hazardous as well as electronice waste, propane tanks, etc. There are regular collections (no fee) Wednesday - Saturday from 7:30 am to 1 pm. Tree stumps are not picked up by the Village of Pittsford. The Town of Pittsford, where the Village brings our brush and leaves to, prohibits us from dumping tree stumps, according to their regulations.

Generally speaking, the Village DPW operates from 7:00 a. m. until 3:30 p. m. However, during the months of June July, and August, the crew works from 6:00 a. m. Monday through Thursday, and from 6:00 a. m. to 10:00 a. m. on Friday.

5. How do I dispose of small debris such as fruit, nuts, flower clippings, and weeds?
Small biodegradable wastes could be placed in reusable rubbish containers at the roadside for the Village Department of Public Works personnel to pick up. When full, these containers should not weigh more than 50 lbs.
