7. Does the Village DPW pick up building materials such as stones, concrete, bricks, sod, etc?
The Village DPW does not pick up any building materials. These must be disposed of through your private waste hauler.

8. What is the best way to put leaves on the curb?
Leaves should be left loose in piles by the curb, separated from brush, or other debis for the safety of our employees and the machinery.

Resident generated brush should be placed out at the curb for Monday pick up. Branches should not exceed 6 feet in length. Brush pick up is done year round, weather permitting. Between the dates of November 1 to March 31, brush pickup is limited due to the trucks being configured for snow pick up. Contractor generated brush needs to be hauled to the Town of Pittsford Highway Garage on Golf Avenue.
