Don't Miss The
'Pull-the-Plug' Regatta!

If you haven't seen Pittsford rowers in action, don't miss the "Pull-the-Plug" on Sunday, Nov. 4 - just before the canal is drained. "Here in Pittsford, we have a tremendous 'Henley-style' venue for a regatta," says Ceil Feins, co-president of Friends of Pittsford Rowing. The presence of a crowd of cheering spectators lining the canal is most encouraging to the rowers, says Fein, who credits public support as key to the three-year-old rowing program's success. Watch for more details in The Brighton Pittsford Post.

Village Office staffers Anne Hartsig and Mary Marowski send a big "thank you" to Lincoln Avenue resident Sue Fox, who spent a whole day earlier this summer helping prepare the newsletter for mailing. Thanks also, to Angela DeBlase, Rand Pl., for her much welcome offer to help.

Thanks to Elizabeth Walsh and members of Boy Scout Troop #167 for keeping the Burdett parking lot and our part of the canal path trash-and weed-free this summer.
