Thanks to a hard-working
Comprehensive Plan Committee!
| The 15-member Comprehensive
Plan Committee worked with Village officials and staff
studying the results of a series of community discussions
about Pittsford Village's future, including the design
charrette held in 2000. Aiding them in documenting their
task were representatives of the consulting firms Peter
J. Smith & Company, Inc., Buffalo, and Barkstrom
and LaCroix Architects, Rochester.
"The committee members who have
worked for more than two years researching the issues,
debating potential solutions, and crafting the comprehensive
plan have been fantastic," says committee chair
Rod Mattingly. "These are our friends and neighbors,
and we should thank them for their countless hours of
hard work.We also are grateful to their spouses, children,
and parents, who saw them leave the house evening after
evening to take part in this important process,"Mattingly
said.
"The Village staff, Anne
Hartsig, Mary Marowski, and Skip Bailey were also extremely
supportive and always helpful throughout the process,"
Mattingly added.
