New Signs Welcome Visitors to Pittsford Village

Our pride in this historic Village goes without saying. Now, visitors will be alerted to the fact that they’re entering one of New York State’s special places.

Seven carved and colorful entrance signs bearing the Village logo are going up at key entry points. Four signs hang from iron standards, three are set on wooden standards. Their bases are being landscaped, and all will eventually be lighted.

Look for the signs at Bob Ford Field, at the intersection of South Main and Jefferson Road, on State Street near Wood Creek, and at other key entry points.

The project was planned to mark our 175th Anniversary celebration, but their welcoming effect will last far into the future.
